Our Vision and Objectives
To restore the mauri/lifeforce of the islands of Ipipiri.
To restore native wildlife habitats by removing introduced pest species. To reintroduce appropriate animal and plant species to the islands. To promote education, research and public awareness and enjoyment of native fauna and flora.
To work with landowners, iwi, local and national government authorities, and community groups sharing similar objectives. To provide financial, material and physical support for the ecological restoration of the islands.
To undertake the above objectives while respecting the natural, recreational, historic and cultural features and values of the Bay of Islands.
